CORRUPTION & BEASTHOOD
* LEVEL ONE.
At stage one corruption, Chara will become more distant, less prone to asking for help or confiding in other people about what they're thinking. They'll have a solemn but self-centred mindset, fixating on existential ideas of their own purpose. They won't be any more violent than usual at this stage, though they will be considerably more cold and very dismissive of the feelings of others. It can be hard to differentiate stage one corruption from how Chara can be when they're in a bad mood.
Incidentally, they will also have considerably more HP and their attacks will notably do more damage.
(Physical Changes: the colour in their eyes grows more dull, if they cry their teas will have the consistency of thick paint and will be a bizarre grey colour, flowers will grow at an accelerated rate around them.)

* LEVEL TWO
At this stage, Chara will be a fair bit less self pitying, and might even come across as friendlier than usual. It's a bit hard to notice, but beneath the surface is a deep existential apathy and a fixation on becoming stronger. They will very much lean into their title as 'The Demon That Comes When You Call It's Name', and will encourage bad behaviour in others so long as it fits their understanding of growing stronger.
Beneath the surface, there is a deep callousness to their way of looking at the world, and they will start to see the people around them as 'characters' rather than people, unless they recognize them as being similar.
(Physical Changes: Skin will become considerably more pale, their veins will become visibly darker, and their tears will be black instead of grey. If their face is shrouded in shadow, their oh-so-pleasant smile and eyes will glow a bright red. Flowers around them will start to wilt.)

* LEVEL THREE
At this stage, Chara's god complex and existential pondering will continue to intensify. They will romantacize the idea of non-existence, and demonize the idea of living. They'll start to fixate on the idea that everyone will be happier if they were simply wiped away. Even the ones they might have identified as being like them or on a similar level will be pushed away, as Chara will come to the conclusion that they have to willingly embrace beasthood in order to gain the same amount of power and control they had over their own world.
They'll go between being violent with no warning and coolly manipulative, often attempting to gaslight people into believing they're not corrupted at all. Reasoning with them will require challenging them and then defeating them before attempting to reach them emotionally.

If left unchecked, they will continue to grow until they have snuffed out all life that can be reached by them. Time will start jumping back and forth as they are unable to properly control the timeline. To stop them, someone will need to seperate their pixelated soul from the growing mass of destruction they've transformed into, after which the beasthood form will start cannibalizing itself until it is reduced to nothing.
